"Cold welding" or "Fast steel" - this is the name of the fast curing composite polymer adhesive.
It is a cylindrical bar, two-layer, black. Packaged in a plastic flask.
The composition is intended for very fast and reliable gluing, repair, sealing of joints, as well as for the restoration of lost fragments of products made of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, wood, plastic, ceramics, glass.
Working temperature range from -60°С to+150°С. Provides reliable repair in conditions of high humidity, at low temperatures (down to -10°C), provided that the mixture is mixed in a warm room.
The fundamental difference from liquid two-component glue is primarily in ease of use, especially in the field (for example, repairing a car on the way). After all, it is much more convenient to simply knead a small piece of "cold welding" in your hands - and the composition is ready for use (mixing the components of liquid glue is somewhat more difficult).
The second advantage is that the consistency of the composition is close to plasticine, it adheres to vertical and ceiling surfaces, does not drain, unlike liquid glue. It is easy to form an element of the desired shape from such “fast steel”, or to form a reinforced seam when gluing. You can also reinforce the seam with a reinforcing mesh, metal or polymer.
After complete curing, the composite is easily sanded and painted.
Recommendations for use:
To activate the mixture, it is necessary to cut off a fragment of the required volume and knead it well in your hands so that the components are properly mixed.
It is recommended to wear rubber gloves or slightly moisten your fingers with water to reduce the glue sticking to your hands.
When finalizing the seam, it is also best to do this with wet fingers.
The setting time is 3-5 minutes.
The curing time is 1-1.5 hours, depending on the temperature.
Weight 20 grams.
