The driver enables the LEDs to operate in soft load mode - 300 mA. With a maximum permissible current for 1 W LEDs equal to 350 mA.
To ensure the temperature regime, you can regulate the output current of the driver by selecting the resistance of the resistor in the CS circuit (see datasheet). On the board it is designated as a composite resistor RS1-RS2.
At the factory, 1 and 2 ohm resistors are installed in parallel. This gives a total resistance of approximately 0.67 ohms and an output current of approximately 300 mA.
Empirically, we got the following results:
- with resistance RS1-RS2 = 2 Ohm, the output current is 130 mA.
- with resistance RS1-RS2 = 1 Ohm, the output current is 220 mA
.
