Drill size:
-
diameter D: 1.00 mm
-
full length L: 34 mm
-
spiral length F: 12 mm
-
sharpening angle: 135°
Twist drill from high-speed tool steel HSS-Co M42 according to DIN 338 (domestic steel marking - P2M10K8-MP).
Also this steel has the commercial name
"Super Cobalt"
Complies with GOST 10902-77.
The high content of cobalt Co in the alloy (about 8%) and molybdenum Mo (about 9%) significantly increases the performance and durability of the drill, even when compared to a titanium coated surface. Alloying with cobalt and molybdenum also increases the red hardness (the ability to withstand overheating without degrading properties).
Recommended for machining high-strength stainless and heat-resistant steels and alloys in conditions of increased heating of the cutting edge.
High abrasion resistance.
Without additional reinforcing coating.
Right-hand cutting, sharpening 135 °, i.e. for hard and soft materials.
Sanded.
Two cutting edges, two spirals.
The shank diameter matches the drilling diameter.
The 135°angle sharpener defines the recommended application for drilling the following materials:
-
alloyed and unalloyed steel
-
non-ferrous metals
-
cast iron of different grades
-
cermets
-
hard plastic, including fiberglass

Warning!
Drilling of stainless steel must be done at the required drilling speeds, it is imperative to use coolant (cutting fluid). The use of coolant on any metal increases the drill life many times over.
